Soft and billowy, this sourdough flat bread is slapped, stretched, and shaped by hand. It can be used to scoop up dip and hummus or split open to pocket any sandwich fillings. This Syrian bread, inspired by The Beekeeper of Aleppo, is made with soft artisan bread flour, local honey, ultra premium extra virgin olive oil, and an ample amount of sourdough. Dress it up with a crumble of ricotta and a drizzle of honey or top with za'atar, fresh herbs, and an infused olive oil.
