Lightly sweet sourdough cornbread with sweet bits of homemade caramel swirled throughout.

This special bread was inspired from the novel, Where the Crawdads Sing. In the book, Kaya survives on corn fritters after her family abandons her. At the same time, her great love gives her a caramel cake for her 16th birthday. Both of these foods have meaning to Kaya, so we decided to bring them both together to create one delicious bread as unique as Kaya.
