Milk Bread

Pillowy soft, this yeasty bread follows the Japanese Tangzhong Method, which includes the enriching addition of a milk/flour roux known as the tangzhong. This tangzhong not only adds flavor and leavening to the bread, it creates a very soft texture. Milk bread just melts at each bite. It also toasts up well for phenomenal grilled cheese.
